All our volunteer members attend divisional training nights to gain and maintain first aid skills and knowledge.
Members are encouraged to develop their first aid skills and to maintain currency through an annual credentialing skills program.
Training Pathway
Complete the online Volunteer Induction and Child Safeguarding course
Complete accredited Provide First Aid course.
Complete HLT21020 Certificate II in Medical Service First Response and Provide Advanced First Aid (Moodle access will be provided).
Complete HLT31220 - Certificate III in Basic Health Care and a credentialing process, including Moodles to gain an Authority to Practice.
While most volunteers of St John NT provide first aid coverage at public events, we also welcome volunteers to assist with:
