With over 70 years’ experience as volunteers and 50 years providing the Northern Territory’s ambulance service, St John NT understands the challenges of delivering services across the Northern Territory. Our vast distances, tropical and desert environments as well as high levels of social disadvantage present a unique set of conditions which require a unique response.
While St John NT is contracted to provide ambulance services by the Northern Territory Government, the funding does not include our charitable activities that help build a safer and more resilient community.
This includes: training junior members with life-svaing skills and providing opportunities for personal development and growth, visiting schools to make sure even the youngest of students know how to call Tripple Zero (000) and teaching young drivers on what to do if they are first on scene in a motor vehicle crash.
These activities would not be possbile without the support of our commercial services or generous donations and partnerships within our community.
