St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc. (St John NT) is the Northern Territory’s emergency ambulance service and a leading provider of first aid training, event health services and community programs. Operating across urban, regional and remote communities, St John NT helps keep Territorians safe through emergency response, frontline care, training and volunteer support.

Our Media Unit manages enquiries relating to ambulance response, community initiatives, operational matters, volunteers, training, major events and organisational news.

Media enquiries most commonly relate to emergency ambulance incidents, however we can also assist with a range of topics including:

• Ambulance operations and emergency response
• Major events and event health services
• Volunteering and community programs
• First aid training and education
• Recruitment and workforce stories
• Remote and regional healthcare
• Community safety and emergency preparedness
• Commercial and community service initiatives
• Organisational announcements and leadership

Where appropriate and in the public interest, our Media Unit may provide high-level information relating to ambulance responses and emergency incidents.

This may include:

• Number and type of resources dispatched
• General nature of the incident
• Patient demographics where appropriate
• Transport priority or destination hospital where appropriate
• Operational impacts or public safety messaging

Information provided during developing incidents may change as situations evolve.

To help us respond efficiently, please include as much information as possible in your enquiry, including:

• Nature of the incident
• Deadline requirements
• Specific information requested

Please note we will not provide identifying patient information or comment on individual patient care matters.
