• HLTWHS005 Conduct Manual Tasks Safely 

This course is appropriate for people who work in high risk areas, act as first aiders to larger facilities or groups, or work in areas where help may be delayed or have difficulty accessing casualties.

The course covers a broad range of advanced skills and provides you with high level skills in management of large incidents, major trauma, sudden cardiac arrest, emotionally disturbed and drug affected casualties.

You will be required to demonstrate CPR on a manikin on the floor for 2 minutes.

This course has been designed to equip First Nations people in the Northern Territory with the knowledge and skills needed to provide initial support to mob (community members) experiencing a mental health problem, and to understand when and how to seek professional help

On successful completion of this course you will be issued with a St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc. statement of attendance. There are no entry requirements or prerequisites to undertake this training.

This is a non-accredited course.
