Nominations are now open for the St John NT 2025 Excellence Awards, recognising those who put others before themselves and often go beyond the call of duty to provide critical life-saving support services and training to the Northern Territory community.
“Each year St John NT staff and volunteers touch the lives of tens of thousands of people across the Territory by providing emergency medical assistance, education and support,” said St John NT CEO Andrew Tombs.
“Our Excellence Awards honour those who demonstrate outstanding leadership, serve as role models, and embody the St John NT values: integrity, respect, collaboration and empathy.
“The Awards present a fantastic opportunity to say thank you and celebrate their exceptional service to our community.”
The 2025 Excellence Awards recognise the work of our Paramedics, Emergency Medical Dispatchers, Patient Transport Officers, volunteers, trainers, educators, and commercial and corporate services staff from across the organisation.
Mr Tombs encouraged the NT community to show their support by nominating.
“We want to recognise the individuals who have been outstanding in their contributions, providing care, compassion, and professionalism, in what are sometimes difficult circumstances,” he said.
“Whether you experienced exceptional care on a Triple Zero (000) call, at the scene of an accident, at an event, in the training room or were supported by our corporate support staff, each member of our team deserves recognition for their commitment to our cause and mission of saving lives and building community resilience.”.
Members of the public can nominate St John NT staff members and/or volunteers until midnight on Tuesday 30 September here: www.stjohnnt.org.au/ExcellenceAwards
Award winners for each of the 16 categories will be announced at the Awards ceremony at Parliament House in November.
Mr Tombs extended his sincere thanks to the Excellence Awards sponsors, whose generous support makes the event possible: Northern Territory Government, Rotary Club of Darwin Sunrise, Australasian College of Paramedicine, Charles Darwin University, AANT, Area9, The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, ZOLL Medical Corporation, Ferno, Nine Darwin and Marsh.
