Early December was the presentation of Heritage Badges and certificates for cadets in Katherine. They put in a lot of effort every week and I am very proud of them. The award was presented by Adult Division Superintendent Martin Scaife and Cadet Division 20100121_Kath_Cadets2Superintendent Natalie Clarke.

20100121_Kath_Cadets3Cadets awarded Heritage Badges were:

  • Meg Clarke
  • Mason Clarke
  • Bianca Stubbs
  • Jordan Halprin
  • Tamika Marshall

I congratulate David Scaife, our Cadet Divisional Officer, who sat along with the cadets and completed all assessment tasks. Well done David.20100121_Kath_Cadets1

Thanks also to Rhys, Lenaire and Jessie for coming each week to lend a hand. This help is invaluable and does not go unnoticed.

20100121_Kath_Cadets0I would like to say the biggest thanks to Benny Butler who put such effort and energy into the presentation of the badges. BENNY, YOU ARE LEGEND.......

Benny arranged for the cadets to be presented with a plaque to commemorate their achievement. Benny also chose a student of merit as he believed that this person showed enthusiasm and dedication throughout the entire course. The Student of Merit was Meg Clarke.

Katherine Cadets return on the 2 February 2010.
