Seventeen Cadets, Juniors and Adults from the Cadet Band Division cleaned the block from the Casuarina St John Ambulance Centre to the Police Station, including the post office car park on Sunday 2 March.

Some of the more unusual pieces found included batteries, guttering, a safety razor and 12 shopping trolleys. More than 2000 pieces of rubbish were picked up and disposed of with the majority being cigarette butts, plastic packaging and glass.
