St John NT first aid training is proudly delivered by a team of qualified Trainers and supported by our customer focussed Training Administration team. Both groups aim to make the St John (NT) training experience an enjoyable, relevant and valued learning opportunity.

Delivering first aid training since the late 1950s in the Northern Territory, changes to some course titles has/will occur throughout 2008. While the newly named and coded courses will comprise all of the content of the superseded programs, all of the new units of competence are now contained in the Health Training Package (HLT07).

All initial enquires are handled by Training Administration staff based in Darwin and Alice Springs who are supported in Katherine, Tennant Creek and Nhulunbuy by support staff. Our contact details are:

Nationally Accredited Courses

Nationally accredited first aid courses currently available for delivery by St John (NT) include:

HLTCPR201A Perform CPR
HLTFA201A Provide emergency basic life support (previously called Accident Action)
HLTFA301B Apply First Aid (also available Flexible Learning)
HLTFA302A Provide first aid in remote situation
HLTFA402B Apply advanced first aid (stand-alone or as part of the Occupational First Aid course)
HLTFA403A Manage first aid in the workplace (stand-alone or as part of the St John (NT) Occupational First Aid course)
HLTFA404A Apply advanced resuscitation techniques (also included in HLTFA402B-Apply advanced first aid unit of competence)
