St John NT offers first aid training courses in our own training venues located across the Northern Territory, except Katherine and Tennant Creek. The Training Venues are located at;

Parap Facelift

Parap

Parap Ambulance Centre, 57 Ross Smith Avenue, Parap.

Car Parking available:

  • At the Parap netball courts (approx 2 minute walk)
  • Please do not park in the facilities to the immediate left and right of the Ambulance Centre

One training hall with kitchen facilities and within walking distance to Parap Shopping Village.

Casuarina

Casuarina Ambulance Headquarters, 50 Dripstone Road, Casuarina.

Car Parking available:

  • Along the left hand side of Goodman Street
  • Rowling Street; and
  • Baptist Church car-park via Dripstone Road

The headquarters services four main branches of St John Ambulance NT. Volunteers, Ambulance Operations/Patient Transport Service and Training

The Casuarina complex provides for a comfortable learning environment, which has three training halls each with tea/coffee facilities, fridge and convenient access to the Casuarina Shopping Centre. Hall hire is possible (availability dependent), please contact training administration for further information Disabled parking can be arranged on request.

Palmerston

This venue was purpose built to house our expanding volunteers in the Palmerston area in 2004. The venue is also utilised for first aid training courses when not occupied by our volunteer. The venue has one training hall with tea/coffee facilities and easy access to the Palmerston town centre and bus interchange.

Katherine

All First Aid training is delivered at the Department of Education and Training, Katherine Regional Training Centre, which is located at 19 Second Street.

  • Car Parking available: Kintore Street & adjacent to the Ambulance Centre along Victoria Highway
  • Disabled parking can be arranged on request

Tennant Creek

Course Dates:

Tennant Creek Ambulance Centre is located in Windley Street, Tennant Creek. The administration hours for Tennant Creek are Monday – Friday, 0830hrs – 1630hrs, excluding weekend and public holidays.

All St John NT First Aid training is delivered at the Department of Business Regional Centre, 66 Staunton Street, Tennant Creek.

  • Car Parking, including disabled parking, is available on site at the Regional Business Centre.

Alice Springs

 The Alice Springs Ambulance centre is located on Telegraph Terrace next to the Fire Station. The administration hours for are Monday- Friday 0800hrs- 1630hrs, excluding Public Holidays.

  • Car Parking is available along Allchurch St (just behind the Ambulance Centre)
  • Disabled parking available on request
  • One training hall with kitchen facilities

Nhulunbuy

CONFIRMING LEARNER
IDENTIFICATION

In order to comply with Standard 1.8 of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) Standards for the Continuing Registration of a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), it is necessary to confirm the identification of all participants in accredited training to ensure that the person providing assessment evidence (the learner), is the person who is enrolled and is subsequently issued the Statement of Attainment/Qualification. Evidence that this process is in place must be available.

Please bring some form of photographic identification to your course.
