Monday 14th September on the Cadet Training night we had the last lesson of the Knowledge of the Order Badge.20090924_NHU_Cadet0 The cadets as you can see from the photos made the cross and also made a fortress. 20090924_NHU_CadetIt was a great night. To finish the Cadets will be handing in a report on the Order, due on the 12th October; this is when Cadets are starting back.

On the Adult Training night we went to the dump with the Fire Department and did a scenario with two cars. Julie and First Aid trainer John Rushton were the Patients in the car. Bertha, Rob, Ann-Marie, Teresa, Brad and Mark Ferguson were treating the patients while the fire department cut the cars up. This was a great exercise and we all enjoyed the night. We finished the night by going to the Fire Department centre and had a BBQ. We got to know each other well.

Some public duties that are coming up are speedway and netball.

The 13th September saw the annual Volleyball competition. 20090924_NHUMost volunteers went to this duty; Mandy Paradise, Brad and Teresa went to Volleyball first and set up. Then they were relieved by Kylie, Ray, Julie, Mark Ferguson and Ann-Maree. It was a fun day for all involved. Djurrpun won the Volleyball competition.
