First term saw us starting with welcoming everyone back and finding out about everyone’s holidays, setting some ground rules, and revision of last year’s modules. Module 1 of Grade 1 was our first topic for the year. This was followed by our first interest badge for the year; yep you guessed it, it was cycling. We had special guest speaker from one of the local bike shops who spoke about safety and bike maintenance.

Over the few weeks we spoke about road safety and road rules, we planned a trip to Darwin via bike and worked out how far it was and how many days it would take; too long we decided. We generally finish each night with a game or team building exercise.

The photo shows one of these exercises; teams had to transfer the water from one bucket to the other only using a sponge or two.

This quarter saw us welcome four new members from picture to the left and starting from the left back row not wearing uniform is, Sneha, Julie and Darcy. Mitchell joined after this photo was taken.

The final evening was taken up with fun night and Easter egg hunt.
