Reliving Benny from the weekly wrap up of “Around Palmerston” Adult Division, I thought it would be good to drop in a line or two for the week.

Last week was a fun, educational, and delicious night at the division with the theme being a quiz night. 13 members attended the meeting and we had 2 teams of 4 for the quiz. Questions asked were related to the St John Organisation and first aid. There were also questions asked that required a “practical demonstration” for the answer. Sweets and chocolates were awarded as a prize for each question that was answered correctly.

There was also another major highlight of the night with the celebration of Shaun Washington’s 18th Birthday. Angie surprised him by bringing in a birthday cake to help celebrate. Shaun has been attending our meetings for most of the year and can now officially be a part of the division.
