Palmerston Adult training night was a little light this evening with attendance compared to other meetings throughout the year, however it was all hands on this evening with lessons using lifting techniques and safe work practices with the equipment. It’s always interesting with the Vollies at Palmerston Adult Division under the watchful supervision of Wayne Bevan Palmerston Ambulance officer and Paramedic. Wayne completed his day shift at 1900 at Palmerston Ambulance centre and came straight to Vollies at Palmerston. Wayne put both the new and experienced members through a rigorous workout with loading and unloading from Ambulance to Patient loading at scene using all equipment available to assist wherever possible with safe practices. Everyone had a great night and it was another excellent training activity. That’s it for this week’s report live from Palmerston, will write again from Katherine real soon. As we say here in this little neck of the woods: "And We Will See You In Palmerston" (ed: this should be, "Around Palmerston" - you can view the Car 110 gifting here for the program.)
