Rebecca B is having a farewell this Thursday on the 1 March. We wish her well as she makes a move from Darwin to Western Australia, leaving on the 13th March.

We plan to have a small farewell for her after training – coffee, cake and nibbles. We would love it if you were interested and wanted to say goodbye to her before she departs the NT.

Brief History

Rebecca joined cadets in 2001 and completed in Cadets / Adults competitions 2005 and 2006.

She was recently promoted to CPL and received her 3 year service bar in a recent ceremony at Palmerston. Rebecca leaves for Western Australia after completing 6 years with St John Ambulance.

Mud Racing

Benny and I attended our first storm Duty for the year. We were at Mud Racing with Christine Turner and Amy M last Saturday night and had interesting and wet, but excellent time. One moment we were all watching and observing the venue when the organiser announced that the rain was on its way. With a scamper and a dash we went under cover only to find the wind had changed its direction and intensity and the rain came down in force within seconds and three blood curdling screams and one laugh later we were soaked through.
