As with every year, BASSINTHEGRASS was a fantastic opportunity for members to practice lots of different skills and attend to a multitude of patients in a loud, crowded and exciting environment. Vollie News 03 Jun 2010 3Vollie News 03 Jun 2010 1

Well over 100 patients were treated at the event requiring everything from the standard bandaids and Panadol to asthma management, wound dressings, alcohol (and other?) overdose and a query spinal right at the end of the night.

The vollies, including cadets, and paramedics made a great team and took turns covering the stage area (in front of the mosh pit and within touching distance to many of the band members) and the first aid post.
