The volunteers’ party was a nice do and all who attended enjoyed themselves. I went to the AFL at Fred’s Pass last Sunday and my jinx is broken. Southern Districts won. Not much of an attendance last week which was just as well as the battery in our car died at the critical moment and we were late. Didn’t feel like doing a lecture after that episode. I attended the Rural Old Timers last Wednesday for Blood Pressures and had a great time brushing up on observation taking followed by a nice lunch. A big well done to Sue-Ellen and Robyn for their first duty together with a clinic car looking after the Special Children’s Christmas Party. Public Duties coming up mainly AFL in town and Palmerston. So few duties and nobody is covering them. At least they were not covered too well last weekend. An ideal chance to get some hours and experience up. If you want help getting organised then please call me. I could be there for some of the time anyway and arrange for someone else if needed. I have been to a few AFL’s and have not been used that much. Usually work with sports medicine and call an ambulance it gets too much. Following week Saturday 16th will be Mud Racing again so get in early if it is your scene. Don’t forget your snorkels. Training will be on the Lymphatic system as well as a drug of the night presented by DO Jacobsen.
