20090723_VN_Vanessa_Brent20090723_VN_Vanessa_martyA little bit more for the previous week:

Earlier on in the week Barbara attended the Moscow circus as a first responder.

Lee had a marathon weekend. It started on the Friday with the Moscow Circus and then was sent to speedway for a practice night. After that Lee joined Greg and Christine at the Satellite City BMX. Geraldine joined us later. We left car 107 in Casuarina for use on the Saturday.

On the Sunday Lee did the Go Karts and then went on with Lyn and Karina (first duty) to Il Traviata.

TERRA was sprung on us by surprise and Andre came to the rescue at short notice. Well done!

Greg and Vanessa had a great time with the Rally cars out by the Charlotte River on Cox Peninsula Rd. Most of them (the cars) died so it ended up being a short day.

Marty is one of the characters from the Rally association of Darwin (RAD) and currently in between builds of a new car.

New member, Vanessa learns the ropes.

Part 2

20090723_VN_motocrossOn Friday Lee, Karina and Barbara did the Moscow Circus; Greg, Dave (Palmerston) and Karina did the small bore Motocross; Angie(Palmerston) did BMX.

20090723_VN_greg_vs_snake1On Saturday Greg started off the Large Bore Motocross from 1530 until about 1830. Peter and Christine came and relieved after doing Fannie Bay Races where I heard they had a couple of jobs.

On Sunday Lee went to the Beer Can Regatta with Karina and the Batchelor Crew of Bruce and Roz. Lee got home about 2030. John from Darwin was a great help on the Sunday afternoon at Mindil.

Greg had a great day at the Australia Post 200 year Anniversary with some great music and a few interesting patients at Crocodyllus Park. Would have been a great duty for Cadets.

20090723_VN_greg_vs_snake0Christine finished a marathon weekend (I hope) by looking after the Quad bikes at their inaugural Mickett Creek race meet.

Doing our bit to be the leading provider of first aid, ambulance and related health services in Australia.
