Aside from completing a first aid program, two other pathways to course completion may be available to you. Credit Transfer (CT), which is formal training resulting in the awarding of an Australian Qualification Frame- work, Statement of Attainment or Qualification issued by other Registered Training Organisations. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), which is acknowledgement of relevant informal life learning/experience. If you believe you have acquired the skills and knowledge contained within the course you are thinking of completing, you may consider applying for Credit Transfer (CT) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Your application will be considered by the Manager, Education & Training Services and you will be advised of the results. In situations where your application results in partial recognition being awarded, a Challenge Assessment must be undertaken.
