Lionel Crompton, KStJ - Chair Ambulance Service (Council) PDF Print E-mail

A Board member since 1991, Dr Cromptom is the Medical Director for the Ambulance Service and his role is to underwrite the Paramedic protocols and to assist with any medical advances required by Lionel Cromptonour paramedics. Dr Crompton worked at Darwin Hospital from 1971 to 1974 and was the ED Registrar during the devastating time of Cyclone Tracy. He continued to work in the NT Aeromedical Service until mid 1975 where he then commenced practicing as a General Practitioner at Parap. In late 1997 Dr Crompton and his wife started a small Health Clinic in Humpty Doo and have since established Arafura Medical Clinics in Palmerston, Casuarina and Howard Springs as well as Humpty Doo.
