What does the job entail: - Overseeing of all ambulance activities in the Southern Region.
- Management of staff and resources.
- Oversee workshop commercial work.
- Liaison with other agencies & organisations.
- Assist and act as point of contact for other departments (e.g. Sales, Training, volunteers, Holdings).
- Member of Strategic Management Group and regional Management Teams.
What do you like best about it: I enjoy working with all the staff in St John. I also enjoy having the ability to assist with cases on road from time to time. What do you like least about it: Being on call all the time and missing out on social activities (Almost 20 years). How long have you been involved with St John: Joined as a volunteer in 1988 and commenced fulltime in November 1990. What were you doing when you first got involved: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning mechanic with Carrier Air Conditioning. What roles you performed over the years: - Student Ambulance Officer (SAO)
